What Truly Matters in Life?

Everyone has their own answer, but there’s a "big three"—health, money, and relationships.
Can we enjoy a walk if our knee hurts? Savor a meal with digestive problems? Feel joy in intimacy when deep down we believe we’re unworthy of love? Can someone feel financially secure if they’re always worried it’s not enough, no matter how much is in their account?

In the race for achievements, we’ve lost touch with the present moment. We’ve forgotten that life is a process, and the quality of life is determined by how we experience our "here and now."

The essence of somatic practice is to restore the fullness of our experience—the ability to see, hear, smell, touch, and breathe in life as it is, perceived through the senses, not as it "should be" according to our judgments or expectations.

I invite you to step away from the hustle of Moscow and immerse yourself in your sensory experiences. We’ll spend two days in the countryside by the river, surrounded by a pine forest. We’ll relax, breathe fresh air, and practice somatics.

What Will We Be Doing?

  • Engaging in practices that explore our connection with the ground, fostering a friendship with gravity, and discovering a new, effortless vertical alignment.

  • Awakening bodily awareness by focusing on our senses: sight, smell, touch, hearing, and taste—with special emphasis on taste and touch.

  • Taking somatic walks in nature, studying how we walk and bringing awareness to how different parts of the body contribute to our walking pattern.

  • Doing relaxing exercises in the evening to ensure restful sleep.

Where Are We Going?

We’re heading to the Efimov Bor Forest Resort (http://www.efimov-bor.ru/).
We’ve stayed here several times and loved it. It’s a cozy, small hotel with all amenities and delicious food. It’s a peaceful, quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature.
